Humanist funeral & memorial services aim to highlight the life, accomplishments and personality of the deceased. They are secular (non-religious) tributes that help pay respect to the influence that the deceased has had on the world and people around him/her.

Many people are too stricken with grief to stand up in front of others and speak at a funeral, wake or memorial service. I can help you in your time of grief by leading the way. During one or more interviews, I will collect information, lead the service, and help you write an appropriate, personalized eulogy that will honour, respect and recreate memories.

Humanist funeral & memorial services may include poetry readings, songs and music, candle-lighting ceremonies, stories, pictures or other means to help make the service touching and personalized.
